Compared with such Lush trailblazers as Bath Ballistics and Bubble Bar Slices you may ask yourself what's so special about soap? Why does Lush bother with stuff you can buy all over the place? That would be to misunderstand our purpose in life. Soap is very handy stuff; it's solid so it doesn't use packaging. (Meaning, what's the point of liquid soap, putting it in a plastic bottle when it was already perfectly happy unpackaged. Let's try not to use up the world's minerals faster, shall we?).

Anyway, all Lush soaps are vegetarian (whales are safe with us) and most are vegan too. (Vegans are people whose principals are not to use anything made out of animals or a by-product thereof). Soaps do not merely get you clean, they scent your body with fragrant fruit and flower essential oils and we make them with as many fresh products as we can pack in to ensure that they treat your skin kindly. There are some synthetic ingredients in them and these are there because they are the most effective, safe carriers for the natural ingredients we use. However, you should compare our ingredients lists with other people's soaps sometime and you'll see the difference between Lush soaps and your average bar.

We make soap because we think we can make nicer ones than anyone else. Try a couple and let us know what you think.

Our Ingredients lists are multi-coloured. There's a reason for this:
GREEN TEXT means the ingredient is ORGANIC & NATURAL.
BLACK TEXT means it is SAFE SYNTHETIC INGREDIENT.
