Bag Monster
To promote the environmental policies and educate customers about the dangers of using plastic bags, Lush has started Bag the bag campaign, an advocacy to ban plastic shopping bags and encourage the use of re-usable carrier bags and paper bags instead.
A giant Bag Monster made of plastic bags, which resembles a live, walking, talking trash heap, rallied the Alabang Town Center & Bonifacio High Street in lieu of the campaign. The giant Bag Monster rallied the mall, assisted by a Lush store staff holding placards that read 'Starve the bag monster—ban plastic bags!' They also handed out educational leaflets to passers-by which gave more information on why plastic bags are detrimental to the environment and animals. The Lush store staff also gave out paper bags to customers who were willing to exchange their plastic bags or other shopping items. The stunt received an overwhelming response from the people inside the mall who turned up and filmed the bag monster in action.
Join Lush cosmetics' fight against plastic bags. Ban plastics and save the earth one plastic bag at a time.
